Transferring your Domain Name (except .EU, .UK and .WS)

Before proceeding with the Transfer, you are advised to first check the following:

Once you have confirmed the above, you may place a Transfer request for your Domain Name with TelNex Technologies, by following the below mentioned steps:

Transfer Process for Customers:

  1. Login to your Control Panel from http://storefront.telnex.com/customer.
     
  2. In the Control Panel, go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Transfer. There, enter the Domain Name you wish to Transfer and the Domain (Transfer) Secret.
     
    IMPORTANT
     
    • In case of a .CC/.TV Domain Name, you may provide a Transfer Secret/Authorization Code if the Domain Name has a Transfer Secret/Authorization Code set at the Current Registrar. Otherwise, you can leave the Transfer Secret field blank.
       
    • The .WS Registry does not support Transfer of Domain Names between Registrars. Hence, a .WS Domain Name cannot be Transferred under any circumstance.
       
     
  3. Select the various Contacts (Registrant, Admin, Technical & Billing Contact) for this Domain Name. You may select from the available list of Contacts or Add a New Contact.

    It is compulsory for you to agree to the associated Product Agreement(s) by selecting the check box.
     

  4. Finally, proceed with the Payment of the Invoice. Click here to read more details on Payment >>

    Now that you have placed the Transfer Order, the Administrative Contact for the Domain Name will receive an e-mail from TelNex Technologies for the Transfer Authorization process, which needs to be approved within 5 days (or else it is assumed that the Admin Contact does not wish for the Transfer to complete and the Order is Deleted in our system). Once the mail has been approved by the Administrative Contact, the Current Registrar will be notified regarding the same. The Current Registrar will send an e-mail to the Registrant and/or the Administrative Contact of the concerned Domain Name to confirm that they wish to Transfer their Domain Name. If the Transfer is not denied by either the Registrant or the Administrative Contact or the Current Registrar, the Domain Name will be Transferred to you under TelNex Technologies in 5 days.

IMPORTANT

Once a Domain Name having an associated Domain (Transfer) Secret is Transferred to TelNex Technologies from another Registrar, our System would set a new Domain (Transfer) Secret for such a Domain Name. This process is implemented from a security perspective.

Transfer Process for Resellers:

  1. Login to your Control Panel from http://storefront.telnex.com/reseller.
     
  2. In the Control Panel, go to Products -> Domain Registration -> Transfer. There, enter the Domain Name you wish to Transfer and the Domain (Transfer) Secret.
     
    IMPORTANT
     
    • In case of a .CC/.TV Domain Name, you may provide a Transfer Secret/Authorization Code if the Domain Name has a Transfer Secret/Authorization Code set at the Current Registrar. Otherwise, you can leave the Transfer Secret field blank.
       
    • The .WS Registry does not support Transfer of Domain Names between Registrars. Hence, a .WS Domain Name cannot be Transferred under any circumstance.
       
     
  3. Enter the Username (Email Address) of the Customer, on whose behalf you wish to buy this Service. If the Customer is new, you can Add the Customer, by filling the form given there.
     
  4. Select the various Contacts (Registrant, Admin, Technical & Billing Contact) for this Domain Name. You may select from the available list of Contacts or Add a New Contact.
